Human Performance Laboratory

The Human Performance Laboratory is used for teaching applications, research, and community outreach in the general area of health assessment and promotion. A broad array of laboratory instrumentation supports the investigation and practical skill application in the areas of energy expenditure and metabolism, body composition, muscular strength and endurance, and a variety of physical health assessments that include bone mineral density screening, EKG recording, lipid analysis, pulmonary function, and resting metabolism assessment.
