Health and Safety Standards
Assurances Prior to Clinical Education
During the program, students are involved with the evaluation and care of patients. In order to safeguard the health and well-being of the patients and the health of the students, the program requires students to carry personal health insurance and to update required immunizations and TB tests. Additionally, prior to working with patients, students must submit to criminal background and sexual offender checks and undergo drug screening. Students must pay for these processes. More specific information is provided to students upon acceptance into the program and enrollment in the program.
