Transfer Credits

The MPAS program does not accept transfer courses as meeting the required courses in the MPAS curriculum. The required courses must be taken at JMU. All but two courses in the MPAS curriculum are available only to students enrolled in the MPAS program. These two courses are BIO 513 Gross Human Anatomy with Clinical Applications which may be taken by students in the graduate program in biology and HTH 659 Health Care Environment which may be taken by students in the graduate program in Health Sciences. If a student has taken either of these two courses at JMU prior to enrollment in the PA program and has earned a grade of "B,(3.0)" or better in the course, the student does not have to retake the course.
