Richardson Awarded Grant for Bullying Study

Elizabeth Richardson, a faculty member of the Occupational Therapy Program, has been awarded a College of Integrated Science and Technology research grant: “Using Adventure-based Occupations to Address Youth Bullying.”   A licensed occupational therapist, Ms. Richardson holds a master’s degree in occupational therapy.   She is an instructor for the JMU OT program and the Level II fieldwork coordinator. 

Ms. Richardson worked with Dr. Amy Russell Yun (Occupational Therapy Program faculty) and Heather Kennel (occupational therapist for the JMU OTCES) to write the grant proposal.  They will work collaboratively on the research.
