Health Studies
The Health Studies Concentration prepares students for pre-professional programs such as pre-medical, pre-dental, pre-optometry, pre-occupational therapy, pre-physical therapy, pre-pharmacy, pre-physician assistant and pre-veterinary. Student who entered JMU before 2008 can choose between the 07-08 Health Studies with a pre-professional list OR the new track 07-08 Health Studies/Pre-professional. The first option you HAVE to complete the pre-professional list you have chosen to fulfill your degree, the second option you may still declare a pre-professional list however as long as 16 credit hours from the given list have been completed you may apply for graduation. If you entered JMU Fall 2008 or after, you are required to complete the 08-09 list.
