Dr. Thompson co-authored an article with Michael Boblitz, a 2000 graduate of the program, addressing the implementation of service line management in hospitals. The article appeared in Healthcare Financial Management. Dr. Thompson also authored a recent publication appearing in The Journal of Health Administration Education entitled “Competency Development and Assessment in Undergraduate Healthcare Management Programs: The Role of Internships.”

Jeff Loveland presented a poster at the Virginia Occupational Therapy Association (VOTA) conference, September 24th and 25th at Tidewater Community College in Virginia Beach. The title of his presentation was “Falls in the Elderly – Factors, Assessment and Intervention.”

Dr. Connie Peterson

Connie Peterson presented a poster at the 2005 World Congress of the World Federation of Athletic Training and Therapy in Edinburgh, Scotland in November 2005. The title of her presentation was “The Use of Neuropsychological Domain Scores and Posturography in Sport Related Concussion Assessment and Recovery.”
